Overview:
This position supports a broad range of Human Resources and facility operations, including recruitment, training, supply inventory management and employee engagement activities. Provides administrative support and contributes to special projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruiting administration including job postings, resume review, interview scheduling, interviewing, reference checks, offer letters/new hire packages, and new hire orientation
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and company guidelines regarding matters of employment law
  • Provide timely response to management and employees inquiries regarding HR issues, and ensure consistent and equitable application of policies and procedures
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of employee information such as job descriptions and PeopleSoft information
  • Generate reports and compile data and statistical information as requested
  • Assist with processing on-boarding, transfers, promotions, performance counseling and terminations
  • Administers and process weekly time, attendance, and payroll; manages the time keeping system and resolves discrepancies
  • Maintain benefits portal, track new hire enrollment and life events, and assist with creating benefit communication items, open enrollment, wellness initiatives and other duties as needed
  • Monitors inventory levels of consumable goods and supplies, ensuring stock levels

Qualifications:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors’ Degree Preferred with a minimum of 2 years of HR experience

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Excellent communications skills including verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and multi-task
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office Strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to maintain high ethical standard and professionalism in dealing with sensitive issues
