Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Facilitate new employee orientations and onboarding processes, ensuring completion of necessary paperwork and training modules.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and onboarding records in HR information systems.
  • Maintain filing systems and assist with records management for the department.

HR Administration:

  • Organize and maintain confidential employee files, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
  • Process a variety of employee status changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as the point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Support the HR Manager in resolving employee concerns and conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate employee training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs
  • Assist in tracking completion of mandatory training and certifications via internal HR systems
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for employee learning and growth

HR Projects and Initiatives:

  • Participate in or lead HR-related projects, such as employee engagement surveys, wellness programs, and policy reviews.
  • Support the implementation of new HR technologies or systems.
  • Contribute to the development and updating of employee handbooks and HR policies.
  • Perform other duties related to the general administration of the Human Resources department as required.
