Description

Join SEARHC’s Human Resources Coordinators team in Juneau and become a part of a top notch group of people dedicated to the successful hiring and onboarding of new employees across our many different sites in SE Alaska. Your day will consist of managing the onboarding requirements for each new hire which includes managing these processes

  • Background checks, drug testing requirements, and employee health requirements prior to candidate’s scheduled start date.
  • Prepare personnel files for new hires and timely filing of all personnel documents. Prepares, processes, and maintains all forms and personnel files for assigned work area in accordance with legal requirements, The Joint Commission, and SEARHC policies and procedures.
  • Processes fingerprinting for all new hires.
  • Provide general administrative/clerical support to the division including filing, scanning, faxing, copying, greeting visitors in assigned work area, and answering phone calls that are received at our central call center.
  • Provide answers to general inquiries from external and internal customers using general knowledge of HR processes and policies for each relevant area in order to answer.

In this role you will communicate professionally with recruiters, supervisors and managers across the consortium in a vibrant, supportive and team-centered culture.

If you have the following qualifications, you are invited to apply!

  • Bachelor’s degree OR
  • 3-4 years of administrative support experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree. Relevant post-secondary education my be considered in place of experience.
  • Or an Associates degree and 1-2 years administrative support experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.

Experience

  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience scheduling and supporting Human Resources or Recruitment activity.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook or PC based calendar/meeting applications.
  • Experience building relationships with external and internal clients.

Pay: $26.06 - $36.08 per hour
