The Robert Anstey Group of Companies has operations in the recycling, automotive, construction and real estate business. We operate Newfoundland and Labrador’s largest metal recycler, Newco Metal & Auto Recycling Limited; new/used auto parts retailer, A1 Automotive Limited; along with interests in construction and real estate businesses.

We’re seeking highly motivated Human Resources Coordinator to support our growth throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. You will work closely with the owner, operations, and finance teams to ensure our operational needs are met and that our employees are compensated fairly.

Responsibilities include:

· Coordinate and hiring of employees for locations across Newfoundland and Labrador

· Ensure new hire paperwork is correct & complete

· Maintain employee records

· Maintain employee group benefit plan

· Develop and maintain system for timesheet verification

· Assist with WorkplaceNL, COR reporting

Qualifications include:

· Human Resources Degree/Diploma, preferred

· 5+ years of HR experience

· Experience in construction/trucking industry would be an asset

· Ability to adapt priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Strong communication skills

Salary and benefits:

· $60,000 - $65,000/yr
