DESCRIPTION

As an HR Coordinator at Sargent & Lundy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of interviews, supporting the recruitment team, and contributing to the overall candidate experience. This position is ideal for someone with a keen attention to detail, a strong customer service mindset, a questioning attitude, and technical proficiency. You will be responsible for coordinating multiple interview formats, assisting with ad hoc reports, and contributing to continuous process improvements in recruitment.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • One or more years of experience as an HR Coordinator or in a similar administrative role supporting HR functions, including interview scheduling; Internship experience is also acceptable.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage scheduling across multiple time zones.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on delivering a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to ask the right questions and drive efficient solutions.
  • Technical proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and familiarity with scheduling tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
  • Ability to adapt to new systems and technologies quickly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to adapt and pivot quickly in response to schedule changes and unexpected events.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and professionalism while handling sensitive candidate information, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in a consulting, professional services, or architecture/engineering firm.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like iCIMS.
