Job Description
We are seeking a HR Coordinator to support our HR team nationally. Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in delivering employee lifecycle administration and coordination activities across Silverchain.
As a HR Coordinator, you will work closely with HR, Operations, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and other stakeholders to ensure a positive employee experience while maintaining accurate and compliant HR records and processes. This is a hands-on role that sits at the heart of the HR function and provides exposure to a broad range of Human Resources activities, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their HR career.

What we're looking for
- Currently studying, or recently completed, a Certificate IV, Diploma or tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Previous administration experience in Human Resources, recruitment or a similar environment would be highly regarded.
- Genuine interest in developing a career in Human Resources.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence working with systems, data and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, reliable and willing to take ownership of tasks through to completion.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
The role
As a HR Coordinator, you will:
- Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, employment changes and offboarding.
- Prepare and maintain employee documentation and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate HR administration across a range of people processes.
- Assist with HR reporting, systems administration and data management activities.
- Respond to general HR enquiries and provide administrative support to employees and leaders.
- Work collaboratively with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and operational stakeholders.
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
