Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for overseeing recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation for new employees. This role is essential to the mission and strategy of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for other human resource duties during the absence of the human resources director.
Responsibilities
· Develop and execute successful recruitment campaigns. This requires communication and collaboration with leaders from other departments to ensure optimal staffing metrics are met.
· Partner with senior leadership to support strategic workforce planning and organizational design.
· Develop and execute stay interviews, culture surveys, and employee retention programs that promote employee engagement.
· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and organizational policies and procedures.
· Oversee performance review cycles and identify professional development opportunities.
· Monitor employee renewal process and ensure staff remain current with licensure and certification. This includes Relias, CPR/FA/AED, professional licensure, state certification for the unlicensed provider, driver’s license, and auto insurance.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
· Working knowledge of employment laws, best practices, and compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to access resources for any clarifying questions.
· HRCI or SHRM preferred (or agreement to obtain within two years).
· Prefer experience with HRIS systems (strong preference for Dayforce knowledge).
· Demonstrated ability to establish trust, maintain confidentiality, and effectively work with all stakeholders.
· Ability to work outside normal business hours if needed.
FLSA: Exempt with expected 40 hours per week.
