Description Position Overview: The Human Resources Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Human Resources (HR) department. Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes, coordinating HR projects and programs, and responding to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures. The HR Coordinator ensures compliance with company policies and legal requirements, assists with benefits administration. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Essential Job Functions: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters. Assist with administration of the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and promotions. Ensures compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Maintain and audit employee records. Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to ensure seamless coordination of employee changes and accurate pay/benefit administration. Perform other duties or special projects assigned. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR role, preferably in a multi-state or multi-location organization. Working knowledge of California labor law and federal employment regulations. Proven ability to handle sensitive employee relations issues with discretion, empathy, and professionalism. Proficient in HRIS platforms (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, or similar systems). Great communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
