OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Human Resource Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment and hiring, employee development and training, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with our team to support our mission.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a human resource role
  • Proven experience in human resources or related roles with a focus on recruiting and training development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective recruitment and hiring processes to attract qualified candidates for open positions
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews and assist in the selection of candidates
  • Onboard and train new employees, ensuring they receive all necessary information and resources to be successful in their role
  • Ensure compliance with all human resource policies and procedures, as well as federal and Alberta employment laws
  • Facilitate employee training and development programs to enhance skills and promote career advancement
  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off
  • Mediate employee conflicts and assist in resolving employee relations issues
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive and inclusive work culture for all employees
  • Coordinate with external organizations for training and development opportunities for employees
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with employees regarding HR-related inquiries and provide guidance as needed.
