After more than a century of the highest quality care and service to children and their families, we’re forever proud of our team members who don’t just make a career here – they make a difference.   Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator   Location: The Children's Institute Squirrel Hill Campus, 1405 Shady Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217 Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full Time, Onsite   The Human Resources Coordinator collaborates with HR team to support the human resources function at The Children’s Institute. Provides administrative support to the HR team such as, coordinating new hire information, data entry and maintenance of team member related information, maintains personnel files, prepares COBRA notifications and various reports as well as any other daily HR functions.    Responsibilities * Support the recruitment process, including completion of necessary paperwork, scheduling of pre-employment physicals, and communicating with candidates * Assist with onboarding new employees (preparing paperwork, CPR/First Aid scheduling, system setup) * Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases * Support benefits enrollment and respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and programs * Assist with payroll coordination and timekeeping records * Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws * Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation * Support employee engagement initiatives and company events * Handle confidential information with discretion * Provide general administrative support to the HR department Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). * A minimum of two years of administrative experience required.  Previous work experience in a human resources and health related/non-profit environment preferred.  * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and demonstrated experience with databases (HRIS) is required. * Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with sensitivity and confidentiality in dealing with employees is required. * Clearances Required: Act 73 FBI, Act 34 Criminal Clearance, and Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance   Benefits Summary We're proud to offer generous benefits to our team members.
