Description Job description: The HR Coordinator supports the administrative and operational functions of the human resources department. This role involves recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits coordination to ensure a smooth and efficient HR operation aligned with the practice’s mission of delivering excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinate the full recruitment cycle, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates. Facilitate new hire onboarding, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientation, and ensuring completion of training modules. Maintain an up-to-date database of candidates and recruitment metrics. Employee Relations Serve as a point of contact for staff inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Support the management team in resolving employee issues and fostering a positive workplace environment. Assist in planning and coordinating employee engagement initiatives and events. Compliance and Records Management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with legal requirements. Track and ensure completion of mandatory training, certifications, and licensure for clinical and non-clinical staff. Benefits and Payroll Support Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions. Coordinate with payroll to address timekeeping and attendance issues. Support leave management processes, including FMLA, parental leave, and disability accommodations. Administrative Support Maintain HR files, policies, and procedures documentation. Prepare reports on HR metrics such as turnover, time-to-hire, and engagement. Provide general administrative support to the HR Manager and leadership team as needed. Requirements Education and Experience Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 2–3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting. Skills and Competencies Knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a medical or outpatient practice environment. Familiarity with healthcare compliance and credentialing processes. Work Environment Fast-paced outpatient clinic environment. Regular interaction with medical staff, administrative teams, and external vendors.
