SUMMARY

Reporting to the Corporate Director of Human Resources and working closely with the Divisional General Managers, The Human Resources Director will be responsible human resources management at all three Action Scaffold divisions: Laval, Quebec City and Toronto, playing a key role in the company’s development and growth. He develops and implements human resources planning programs and procedures in the areas of occupational health and safety, training, recruitment, organizational development, retention, total compensation and performance management.

KEY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial relations or administration with a specialization in human resources.
• Member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés, (CHRP or CIRC).
• Be fluently bilingual in spoken and written French and English.
• Experience in a manufacturing or service sector environment.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in managing human resources personnel on several sites.
• CCQ knowledge (asset).
• Knowledge of labour laws and regulations in Quebec and Ontario.
• Energetic, ambitious, entrepreneurial style and enjoy challenges.
• Adaptability, ability to adapt your communication to your interlocutors.
• Sense of influence, persuasion, leadership.
• Recognized for being close to operations.
• Available for occasional travel between divisions.
