Description

The HR Director is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Compensation teams. The role ensures alignment between leads and aligns our HR Business Partner (HRBP), Compensation, and Talent Acquisition teams in support of a dynamic and fast-paced government contracting environment. This role ensures alignment between people practices and business objectives, with a focus on regulatory compliance, employee relations, workforce planning and operational execution. The Director will provide leadership across key HR functions, ensuring consistent processes, accurate data and analytics, and effective recruitment strategies that support both current operations and future growth.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Prior experience in government contracting or highly regulated industry is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, policies and precedents.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the HR strategic partnerships in driving business results.
  • Ability to influence / manage change and to advise and assist management in accomplishing personnel management responsibilities.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with ability to effectively lead, mentor and train others.
  • Solid organizational and leadership skills relevant to carrying out day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and to meet specified deadlines.
  • Proficient in verbal, written and listening skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of staff including executive management.
  • Ability to effectively work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to coordinate efforts with others to find mutually acceptable solutions for the successful achievement of goals.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; and ten (10) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, including direct oversight of HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and Compensation Teams.
