    1WorldSync is the industry leader in product content management. With approximately 550 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, we seek a Human Resources Director Europe to support our growing global team.
    The Human Resources Director Europe (UK, Switzerland, Germany, Portugal & France) will report directly to our Chief Human Resources Officer and play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our team by responding to employee questions and performing administrative functions related to benefits management, compliance, talent, and employee development. This position requires a proactive approach to addressing employee needs. This role will have two direct reports (Portugal and Cologne).
    As a Human Resources Director at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:
-

Oversees execution of human resources policies and programs, which include recruitment and onboarding, training and career development, employee relations, and compensation and benefits planning.

  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
  • Ensures compliance with country-specific regulations, laws and other items
  • Assists country-specific managers in the application of HR programs to departmental operations.
  • Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions.
  • Responsible for the benefits, payroll, policies, and handbook for the countries this role supports.

    • Work with management as a partner to ensure the HR department aligns with the company’s goals and values.
  • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies.
  • Oversee HR initiatives and handle employment relations


    • Oversee all employee-related initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, promotions, and exit interviews

    • Analyze data to report on HR metrics and make informed decisions
    • Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, and compensation.
    • Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities.
    • Working with international colleagues and teams

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management
    • Certification in HR or master’s degree preferred
    • Minimum of 12 years experience in human resources
    • 7 years leading and managing a human resources team
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion
    • Great interpersonal skills
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German
    • Fantastic problem-solving and resourcefulness skills
    • Flexible working hours to adapt to the business needs of a global organization
    • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
