Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Meadows of Napa Valley is seeking a dynamic HR Director to lead and elevate our Human Resources function, supporting a dedicated team of approximately 200 employees. In this vital leadership role, you’ll drive key HR initiatives, champion a positive workplace culture, and help shape the strategies that ensure our community continues to thrive. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day in a values-based environment where your work truly matters.
Pay: $130,000 - $145,000 / annually DOE

HOW YOU’LL DO IT:

  • Lead strategic HR operations by aligning programs and practices with PRS’s mission and Core Values (“We Speak Up, We Step Up, We Lift Up, We Team Up”) into all aspects of your role.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to implement initiatives that strengthen culture and performance.
  • Manage talent acquisition with regional recruiting support, build effective onboarding experiences, and equip new hires with the tools and knowledge to succeed quickly within the community.
  • Improve employee experience and retention by leveraging HR metrics, identifying areas for growth, and working with leaders to create solutions. Support team-building, recognition, and engagement efforts.
  • Oversee HR compliance and administration, including benefits, Workers’ Compensation, Return-to-Work programs, and legal requirements. Handle employee relations, performance management, and compensation strategy.
  • Supervise Human Resources staff and lead training, coaching, and leadership development. Maintain and utilize HRIS, scheduling, and payroll systems to support efficient HR operations.
