An MRA Member is looking for… Human Resources Director Waukesha, WI Position Overview An MRA Member Company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and manage all day-to-day HR functions. This role will partner closely with leadership to drive strategic initiatives related to talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with operational execution in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals, including workforce planning, recruitment, and retention Provide guidance to management and employees on complex HR matters, including employee relations and performance management Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market trends Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Manage and enhance onboarding programs to support employee integration and engagement Oversee payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with third-party vendors Support performance management processes and align employee goals with organizational objectives Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures to support compliance and best practices Foster a positive workplace culture and support employee engagement initiatives Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR experience Knowledge & Skills: Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law Experience with payroll, benefits administration, and HR systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Additional Information This description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work performed and is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
