Description We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and people-centered Human Resources Director to lead our HR function and support the growth and development of our organization. This leader will oversee all aspects of human resources, including full cycle recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, benefits, and organizational development. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and skilled at building strong relationships at all levels. They will partner closely with leadership to shape our culture, streamline HR processes, and ensure our team members have the support and resources they need to thrive. Primary Position Responsibilities: Directly supervises assigned staff and assists in the recruitment, placement, orientation, training, evaluation, and performance management of staff. Oversee the recruitment cycle to include job postings, interviews, and new hire orientation. Develops and implements policies and procedures and file regulatory reports to ensure and maintain agency compliance and mitigate risk on applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Ensures that the personnel manual is revised on a consistent basis and that it complies with all federal, state, and local regulations. Track and approve HR operational expenses within budget guidelines. Maintains confidential personnel documents, to include employee files, employee medical files, I-9 files, employee relation files, incident reports, workers compensation, and leave (FMLA, medical leave, etc.) in accordance with federal and state confidentiality retention, and storage regulations. Conducts internal HR audits and provides regular reports on accuracy of information documented on all employee records. Oversee the performance appraisal system to drive performance and support managers in providing constructive feedback and coaching to employees. Designs, delivers, or outsources training programs for all employees. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field. Five or more years of human resources and supervisory experience in healthcare. SHRM Certification Valid driver’s license and personal transportation to travel between center locations, outreach events, and community meetings.
