WHAT YOU’LL DO…

We’re currently looking for an HR Generalist to join our team in creating a positive employee experience at EastGen! In this role you’ll play a key role in supporting the daily operations of a wide range of HR functions, spanning the entire employee lifecycle. This role is eligible for a hybrid working arrangement, with 3-days per week based from our Head office in Guelph, ON.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Provide coaching, guidance, and advice to people leaders
  • Partner with leaders to support the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Coordinate employee onboarding sessions
  • Schedule and follow up on employee training completion
  • Lead employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives
  • Maintain employee records, people data, and HR reporting
  • Provide guidance and support in our Health & Safety programs and initiatives
  • Contribute to HR projects and administrative tasks as needed

You love to make an impact - you are a proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented HR professional who consistently delivers results. You maintain a curious mindset and are dedicated to delivering a positive, people-focused experience. Ideally you will bring the following skills and abilities to this role:

  • 3 years experience working in human resources
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field
  • CHRP designation, completed or in progress is considered an asset
  • Fluent in English with proven effective communication skills (oral and written)
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Well developed relationship building abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skill
