POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Administrative Assistant / Human Resources Generalist will provide essential support to both the administrative and human resources functions of our school. This role requires someone who excels at multitasking, managing confidential information with discretion, and fostering positive relationships with directors, staff, families, and external partners. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, detail oriented, adept at filing and documentation, tactful and diplomatic in communication, have excellent time management skills and be able to work both independently and as a part of a team. Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of our school by providing personalized and timely support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in administrative support or HR roles; experience in education or special needs environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS/payroll software.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, parents, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of California labor laws and regulations, particularly those applicable to schools, is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a diverse team, students, and parents.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment.
  • Minimum three professional references (preferably from previously held roles).

    Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
