1. RECRUITMENT & ONBOARDING

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Prepare and issue offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation.
  • Facilitate orientation sessions for new hires and support their integration into the company.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of labour laws, ESA (Employment Standards Act), OHSA, and Human Rights Code.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2–4 years of experience in a Human Resources generalist or coordinator role.
  • Hands-on experience with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word).

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation in Ontario.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting team goals.
