Job Title: Human Resources GeneralistJob Description As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in providing employee relations support, guiding local management, and facilitating various HR processes. This position involves managing recruitment and onboarding, conducting investigative interviews, and evaluating information to determine the best course of action from a business, ethical, and legal standpoint. You will also assist in performance reviews, handle Workday transactions, and support program development. Responsibilities Provide employee relations support to local management, including counseling, guidance, and disciplinary action when necessary. Serve as the daily contact for local site staff to address employee relations issues, including benefits and compensation. Conduct investigative interviews when employee issues arise. Evaluate gathered information and determine the best course of action from a business, ethical, and legal standpoint. Manage recruitment and onboarding processes for open exempt and non-exempt headcount. Conduct new employee orientations and distribute new hire paperwork and benefits materials. Conduct exit interviews and investigate key issues. Facilitate and support the performance review process semi-annually and annually. Perform filing, auditing, and archiving tasks. Assist in the design, development, implementation, and facilitation of HR programs. Manage Workday transactions. Meet one-on-one with employees to address questions and requests. Perform additional duties as requested. Essential Skills 3+ years of HR generalist experience. Bachelor's Degree required. Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in HR systems. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Critical thinking and problem resolution skills. Strong attention to detail. Understanding of labor law and previous recruitment experience. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment. Time management skills and the ability to work independently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Data entry and administrative support experience. 1-3 years of training in GMP. Work Environment The role is based on-site five days a week during training, which lasts 2-4 weeks. After training, the position transitions to a hybrid schedule, with on-site work from Monday to Thursday and remote work on Fridays. The work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM. This position is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment. The work setting includes an office and warehouse environment with open cubicle arrangements, providing each team member with their own workspace. The team consists of 170 people at this site, with over 100 in the warehouse. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
