Job Title: Human Resources Generalist Job Description The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for developing, influencing, and executing innovative, full-cycle talent acquisition strategies that will attract top talent, gain competitive advantages, and align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company. Additionally, this role provides broad Human Resources support in various areas, including employee relations, performance management, organizational development, affirmative action, and employment law compliance. Safety is paramount, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, and procedures. Responsibilities Assist with the talent acquisition process to align with business priorities, including workforce planning, proactive sourcing, and the selection process. Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including new hire orientation. Coordinate Wellbeing Experience events such as massage chairs, disc golf, onsite fitness classes, guest speakers, and team lunches. Compile and distribute a biweekly employee newsletter. Recommend, implement, and support continuous improvement of HR processes, procedures, and programs. Provide support to the Human Resources team as required. Essential Skills Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and analytical skills with proven ability to problem solve and manage multiple projects. Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal. Superb judgment and integrity with excellent decision-making skills. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Ability to write general business correspondence such as reports and procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Some recruiting experience with HR knowledge (understanding of benefits, compliance, and onboarding). Experience with Microsoft Outlook. An associate's degree from a two-year college or university, or one to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus. Work Environment This position is located in an office environment at our headquarters in Jackson, Wisconsin, where the noise level is low. The role involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Currently, this position reports to the controller until a new HR Manager is hired. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Jackson, WI.
