Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of human resources management and be proficient in various computer systems. This role involves supporting various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, and payroll management. The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Job Overview:

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  • Assist with employee relations issues by providing guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support payroll processing using in-house payroll systems, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Collaborate with management to develop HR policies that align with business objectives.
  • Assist with employee retention programs and activities.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis to inform HR decisions and strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations while maintaining best practices in human resources.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Friendly and eager to work with the public and associates. Comfortable with public speaking. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Organization skills, and process-oriented approach.
  • Ability to learn quickly, take on new projects and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Education and/or equivalent experience in Human Resources, CPHR designation is an asset.
