Our efforts to go above and beyond have resulted in countless successful results. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our Milford location. The candidate we seek must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to actively support HR best practices and be a trusted liaison to balance the role of business and employee advocate. This is a full-time, in-office role. Full cycle recruiting New hire onboarding and orientation Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of HR policies Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and reporting Maintain confidentiality in managing sensitive information Employee benefits administration Back-up to payroll and HRIS transaction processing HR-related correspondence, filing, scanning, data entry, and reporting Provide timely service to staff and external business partners Facilitate HR subject matter training Champion a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture Requirements College degree or equivalent HR generalist experience HR Certification preferred (HRCI and/or SHRM) Minimum 5+ years of HR generalist level experience required Initiative to maintain current knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices Full cycle recruiting experience required Experience administering employee benefit plans including 401(k) plans Experience administering FMLA, CT PL, WC, ADA, STD, LTD leave situations Ability to analyze facts, form objective conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations Professional written & verbal communication skills Effective leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills Payroll experience a plus Training experience a plus Exceptional level of integrity and ethical behavior Professional written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail Customer service mindset and interpersonal skills to deal with diverse people and situations Ability to remain calm under pressure, prioritize, and be adaptable Proactive problem-solving ability Efficient organizational and time-management skills
Responsibilities
The Human Resources Generalist will manage full cycle recruiting, new hire onboarding, and assist in the development and administration of HR policies. They will also ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information.
