Description Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. This role will support employees across multiple U.S. geographical regions, with a strong focus on California employment practices. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in multi-state HR compliance, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations. Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities/Essential Duties Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees in assigned regions, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs. Support and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, with a strong emphasis on California employment law. Supports employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution in collaboration with HR leadership. Assist with the implementation and administration of HR initiatives, including performance management, employee engagement, and training programs. Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support recruitment efforts and onboarding processes across regions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system. Provide support for benefits administration, leaves of absence, and workers’ compensation as needed. Bilingual in Spanish/English is strongly preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Strong working knowledge of California labor and employment laws is required Working Conditions, Hours, Travel Most work is performed in an office/warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets. This is a full-time position. The standard hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Occasional travel to visit company locations within the region as well as for meetings or training outside the region is expected for this position. . Physical Requirements Work will be performed in an office, where a computer and office equipment may be used. Regularly required to sit reach, stand, and often uses repetitive hand motions Must be able to lift up to 15lbs Requires the visual ability to perform detailed work at close distances (computer screens). This job regularly requires verbal communication of detailed information to others either by phone or in person. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
