We are looking for Full-time Human Resources Generalist to join our team at our Coquitlam Terminal. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, administering and supporting day-to-day Human Resources functions and activities including, but not limited to; recruitment & training; employee data management; Occupational Health & Safety; employee & labour relations, ensuring alignment with the Company Strategic Plan, culture, policies & procedures, as well as human resources best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Assists recruitment with end-to-end recruitment including coordination and facilitation of onboarding and orientation.
  • Responsible for the administrative functions of the company Safety Program; tracking compliance with industry legislation, regulations and Occupational Health & Safety policies, procedures and practices.
  • Partners on and contributes to safety activities ensuring compliance with WorkSafe BC legislation including, but not limited to, assisting with monthly workplace inspections, co-chair Joint Health & Safety Committee.
  • Ensures compliance with employment legislation, collective agreements, and internal policies.
  • Supports the implementation and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Assists with responding to employee inquiries related to benefits, leaves, pay and policies.
  • Collects and analyzes HR data to support decision making and reporting needs.
  • Participates in HR projects such as process improvements, staff engagement activities, and training.
