Description

Cottage Medical Group seeks a Human Resources Generalist responsible for serving as a crucial link between human resources and medical staff operations. This role will streamline the integration of new providers while maintaining comprehensive Human Resources (HR) support for all Cottage Medical Group (CMG) staff. The position plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth onboarding, efficient credentialing, and effective privileging processes for providers, directly contributing to the quality of patient care and operational excellence of the organization. Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to balance the specialized needs of provider onboarding with general HR functions.This position will be instrumental in creating a positive first impression for new providers, facilitating their swift integration into the medical group, and ensuring all regulatory and organizational requirements are met. Simultaneously, they will support the broader HR needs of the organization, fostering a positive work environment and maintaining compliance with employment laws and best practices.

EDUCATION:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum: Familiarity with HRIS systems and HR best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio.
  • Preferred: Experience with Medical Staff operations and bylaws. Knowledge of credentialing and privileging processes in healthcare. Familiarity with medical residency and fellowship programs . Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditations standards (e.g., COLA).

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum: 1 year of HR experience.
  • Preferred: 3 plus years of HR experience in a Healthcare setting.
