Description The Dallas Central Appraisal District is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or other related degree and at least one years of Human Resources experience. Must be familiar with employment laws, state and federal. Strong PC skill required. PHR certification required within one year of assuming position. Certifications such as SPHR, GPHR, (CA certifications), CEBS, IPMA CP, IPMA CS, etc. are acceptable. PHYSICAL & MENTAL ABILITIES: Incumbent must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time with ability to reach, bend and move up/down. Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds of files or equipment. The position requires the ability to concentrate on assigned tasks and the ability to manage time effectively in order to meet production and quality objectives. Incumbent must be able to operate office equipment including computers (keyboard and touch) and calculators. Incumbent must be able to clearly communicate on the telephone and face to face, including the ability to ask questions that will bring forth the information needed to make sound decisions. OTHER ASPECTS OF THE JOB: Coordinates activities with various levels of management, insures strong communication at all levels, insures confidentiality of all Human Resources records.
