DESCRIPTION:

The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources Business Partner in delivering various HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR reporting, talent management, compliance, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, onboarding and other recruitment administrative tasks.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support to leadership team members, escalating complex critical matters to HR Lead and/or Human Resources Business Partner.
Coordinate performance management processes, including performance appraisals, reviews, feedback, and development plans.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Assist in employee relations investigations and in resolving employee issues and conflicts.
Monitor and generate regular reports on HR activities and metrics.
Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
Action day to day operational HR documents accordingly including but not limited to change in terms and conditions of employment (COC), subsequent variation to contract and termination advice.
Maintain complete and accurate employee records within Eastern Guruma’s HRIMS – ELMO

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Qualifications
Certificate IV in Human Resources or above.
5+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role preferably in the mining, civil, construction and facilities management industry.
Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Anility to thrive in high pressure and challenging work environments.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in HR software, preferably ELMO and Microsoft Office Suite.
