This role serves as a trusted advisor to leadership while fostering a positive, compliant, and inclusive workplace. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned departments, providing guidance on employee relations, policies, and workplace concerns. Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions. Coach leaders on performance management, corrective action, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations. Administer attendance management and progressive discipline processes. Partner with leadership to support employee engagement, retention, and development initiatives. Hold regular meetings with managers to provide HR guidance and address workforce needs. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Support HR functions including recruiting, payroll, benefits, compensation, and training as business needs require. Assist with employment documentation, leave administration, and employee status changes. Coordinate with Legal on employment claims and investigations as needed. Support employee recognition programs and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop a strong understanding of supported business operations. Maintain compliance with safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience in one or more HR disciplines, including employee relations, payroll, recruiting, compensation, benefits, or training. Working knowledge of employment laws, including EEO, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, HIPAA, and related regulations. Experience with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel. Strong communication, organization, and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to influence leaders, build relationships, and exercise sound judgment. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation for employee relations matters as needed. Willingness to travel between local facilities (less than 5%).
