Description POSITION: Human Resources Generalist FLSA STATUS: Salary SALARY: $60,000 – $65,000 (DOE) Higley Group is a dynamic portfolio of companies growing through acquisition in the Magic Valley with diversified holdings across trades, manufacturing, automotive, and service industries. We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our HR team at the company’s headquarters in Twin Falls, Idaho. This position works with the HR Manager and collaborates with other managers and departments across the different portfolios. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple HR functions—from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. Job Duties: · Administer day-to-day HR operations including general benefits & payroll questions and assist in maintaining employee records · Support recruitment efforts: post jobs, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, schedule pre-employment screening & follow-up as needed · Standardize and facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes · Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws · Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns · Help implement HR policies and procedures · Identify areas for improvement and offer suggestions to improve efficiency · Drive HR initiatives that align with organizational goals · Build and promote strong relationships by promoting a positive culture · Assist with compensation analysis to align wages with job roles · Assist with Training and Development: Manage OSHA 10 training, create training schedules, and coordinate additional training resources for operational needs · Support OSHA audits, maintain safety standards, and ensure compliance records and policies are up to date in Paylocity · Assist with performance reviews, document progress, and coordinate management training to enhance team success. · Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. · Ability to manage multiple priorities and foster a collaborative work environment. · Other duties as assigned Skills: · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision · Self-Starter · Process driven & detail oriented · Sense of urgency & deadline driven · Thrives in fast paced environment · Excellent organizational and time management skills · Collaborative · Communicator · Adapts easily to change · Customer service driven · Detailed-oriented, trustworthy, able to follow directions, shows initiative · Ability to Handle sensitive information with discretion Physical Setting/Physical Requirements: · In-Office position · Ability to sit for long periods of time Benefits: · 401(k) & company match · Medical insurance · Dental insurance · Vision insurance · PTO · Paid Holidays Applicants must be able to pass a physical agility test, background and drug test.
