POSITION OVERVIEW:

The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the daily human resources functions and duties within our dynamic agricultural and food production environment. This role is responsible for providing HR support in recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, training, and health & safety initiatives, ensuring all practices align with federal and provincial employment standards and industry best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• CHRP designation (or working towards) preferred.
• 3–4 years of HR experience, ideally in manufacturing, agriculture, or food production environments.
• Knowledge of Ontario Employment Standards Act, OHSA, and other applicable regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
