Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and supervisors at the New Lisbon facility Support full‑cycle recruitment and onboarding for hourly and salaried roles Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including coaching, investigations, and performance management Assist with benefits administration and leave management (FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation) Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data Partner with leaders on engagement, retention, and workforce planning initiatives Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies Support training efforts, including new‑hire orientation and ongoing development Assist with HR reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives Promote a safe, respectful, and employee‑owner‑focused workplace culture Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment Working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust at all levels Hands‑on, solutions‑oriented approach with a high level of discretion and integrity Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office SHRM‑CP or PHR certification preferred What Leer Offers Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Opportunities for professional growth and development A collaborative, safety‑focused manufacturing environment The opportunity to make a meaningful impact as an employee‑owner The Human Resources Generalist will serve as a trusted HR partner for the New Lisbon manufacturing facility, supporting day‑to‑day HR operations and helping ensure a positive, compliant, and engaged workplace.
