JOB SUMMARY:

The Generalist, Human Resources is responsible for basic generalist functions including policy interpretation, general support in the development and execution of strategies that align with the company’s goals and initiatives. Partners with the Payroll team to troubleshoot employee issues. Manages recruiting new employees, onboarding, employee benefits, administering the performance appraisal review process, compensation matters, and providing data reporting. Responsible for presenting and administering specific HR training including, but not limited to, corporate compliance, professional development and policy implementation.

  • Ability to interface and communicate with a diverse variety of individuals such as employees, management, and vendors.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software including the ability to create spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Previous Paycom HRIS knowledge and functionality preferred.
  • Provide customer service and support with employees, management & vendors.
  • Operates with the highest level of honesty and integrity.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • College Degree, SHRM-CP certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • 4-5 years previous HR Generalist experience including experience with recruitment and general benefit administration.
  • Experience providing HR support in the telecommunications industry a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate by typing, reading, talking, and listening effectively. The employee will be required to work for extended periods of time at a desk on a computer and must be able to maneuver through office spaces as needed. Responsibilities

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implements HR programs & procedures for all company employees.
  • Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR/Benefits/Payroll policies & procedures.
  • Answers employee questions regarding their compensation/benefits and helps to resolve any questions or concerns.
  • Provides assistance with benefits and payroll administration, as needed.
  • Develops and facilitates various human resources training and development efforts, as well as conducts recruiting, new hire onboarding/orientation.
  • Gathers HR data and provides analysis and reporting as required by Senior Management.
  • Leads the recruitment and interview process.
  • Collaborates with other departments on scheduled employee functions and activities.
  • Completes various assigned research or special projects.
  • Provides value-added service to employees/management by doing whatever is reasonable and possible to meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Records hierarchy changes and ensures data integrity in all HR systems.
  • Adheres to policies and procedures while maintaining total confidentiality of all customer and company information.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.
