YOUR IMPACT

We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Human Resources Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will independently coordinate human resources activities across the employee lifecycle and act as a trusted resource for colleagues and business partners within the geography.
You will deliver exceptional support while ensuring compliance with all legal and organizational requirements.
As a key member of the human resources team, you will work closely with colleagues across the geography, as well as with counterparts in other functions (e.g. Legal, Payroll, Talent Management, Recruiting, Compensation, and Professional Development and other HR Operations teams). Your efforts will contribute to achieving our strategic goals while maintaining alignment with policies and processes and support colleagues at our best.

What will you do?

  • Provide hands-on human resources support to stakeholders and colleagues within the geography.
  • Manage the on- and off-boarding process for new hires, transfers, and role changes, including orientation execution.
  • Support role changes, rotations, and flexible work programs.
  • Ensure accurate human resources data and document management with a focus on data integrity.
  • Assist managers with evaluation and performance management processes.
  • Communicate and interpret policies and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Lead and support colleague care programs and employee relations initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted source of information and guidance for colleagues, escalating issues as needed.

You will be based in Amsterdam as part of our Human Resources team. This team is part of the wider People team.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree required
  • Proven experience in human resources or other related fields, with a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and compliance requirements
  • Full time availability
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in human resources information systems, HRIS / AFAS, and case management tools or the willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering an equitable and efficient human resources experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and care for colleagues’ well-being
