What You’ll Do

  • Recruitment: Manage the full cycle hiring process for both factory and office roles, from job postings and interviews to offers and onboarding.
  • Employee Relations: Support managers with coaching, disciplinary actions, and resolving employee concerns.
  • On-Site HR Presence: Maintain a consistent, visible presence on the shop floor to build trust and stay connected with employees.
  • Employee Benefits: Oversee benefit programs, manage enrollments and changes, answer employee questions, and ensure compliance.
  • Disability & Leave Management: coordinate disability claims, FMLA, and workers’ compensation cases, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and providing support to employees throughout the process.
  • Compliance & Policies: Ensure all HR practices adhere to Nevada labor laws and internal company policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare HR reports and monitor key performance indicators to support decision-making.
  • Engagement & Recognition: Help implement programs that promote engagement, celebrate achievements, and boost retention.
  • Workplace Culture: Champion a people-first, inclusive culture aligned with our core values.
  • HR Projects: Contribute to key HR initiatives such as training, safety, performance reviews, and internal communications.

Key competencies

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws, especially those applicable in Nevada.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team spirit, people-focused approach, attention to detail, and initiative.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
