POSITION DESCRIPTION

Modine Manufacturing is seeking a resourceful and relationship-driven HR Generalist to support our Performance Technologies team in West Kingston, Rhode Island. This hybrid role will serve as a trusted partner to employees and people managers, providing hands-on HR support across a range of disciplines. This is a new addition to the HR team, reflecting our commitment to supporting a growing and evolving organization. This role offers the opportunity to shape the culture and effectiveness of a newly integrated team, in a company that values innovation, accountability, and people-first leadership.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 3 or more years of HR experience; manufacturing or industrial experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employees.
  • Proven self-starter with a proactive approach to supporting people managers and building trust across teams.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors or similar HRIS tools.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for HR support within the Indoor Air Quality team in West Kingston, ensuring a consistent and proactive HR presence.
  • Provide frontline guidance to people managers on employee relations, performance. management, coaching conversations, investigations and day-to-day workforce matters.
  • Support recruitment efforts including requisition management, screening, and onboarding; leverage SuccessFactors to ensure a smooth candidate and manager experience.
  • Support and coach managers through performance management cycles, talent reviews, and organizational development efforts.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR partners to support payroll, benefits, compensation and HRIS processes; ensure employee data is accurate and prompt in SuccessFactors and related systems
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of HR programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and team effectiveness.
  • Maintain and update employee data in SuccessFactors and other HR systems to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting and compliance.
  • Participate in organizational change initiatives and provide input to HR strategies that align with the needs of the Performance Technologies team.
  • Coordinate and support employee communications, HR policy application, and general HR inquiries.
