JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in human capital management and demonstrate expertise in areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration.

EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate should have:

  • Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with HR sourcing tools such as ATS platforms (e.g., Lever, iCIMS, Taleo) and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Paychex, Oracle HCM).
  • Strong understanding of employment & labor law including affirmative action planning and conflict management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management principles to lead HR initiatives successfully.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the recruitment process including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with FMLA and other labor laws.
  • Conduct employee orientation sessions to facilitate smooth transitions for new hires.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including employee evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
  • Support change management initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to retain top talent within the organization.
  • Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Maintain HRIS systems for accurate data entry, reporting, and workforce management.
  • Collaborate on strategic planning efforts related to organization design and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and manage workers’ compensation claims as needed.
