Description Position Summary: The CUBRC, Inc. Buffalo NY office has an immediate need for a Human Resources Generalist/Payroll Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of the HR department and serve as a key resource for employees and management. This role is responsible for a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and HR policy implementation. The ideal candidate is detail-orientated, approachable, and knowledgeable across multiple areas of human resources. Primary Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinate recruitment initiatives, including job postings, offers, background checks and file review. Employee Relations Serve as a mid-level point of contact for employee questions and concerns and advisor to functional managers Support conflict resolution and promote a positive workplace culture Assist with investigations and disciplinary actions as needed Perform Exit Interviews HR Administration Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data – including periodic audits of documentation and HRIS systems. Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards Maintain the Human Resources SharePoint Page Maintain the Paylocity Employee Portal Benefits & Compensation Administer the Open Enrollment process on an annual basis Answer employee questions related to benefits and compensation Payroll processing and 401k funding Process garnishments in the payroll system Review monthly benefits bills and coordinate with Human Resources Coordinator regarding any questions or outstanding issues Compliance & Policy Management Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws Assist in developing, updating and enforcing HR policies and procedures Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements Performance & Development Assist with performance review processes and documentation Support training and professional development initiatives Other Support the Human Resources Manager in education employees and enforcing company policies Support the Human Resources Manager with any special (ad hoc) projects Report to the Human Resources about all Human resources endeavors Salary: $62,000.00 - $74,000.00 annually – depending on experience. Requirements Preferred Qualifications: BA/BS in Human Resources with minimum 4 years of experience in related area. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. The ability to problem-solve and seek resolution to issues as they arise. Strong communication and teamwork skills. The ability to research and analyze information to be applied to situations. Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and HRIS systems.
