Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION: HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
We are looking for a passionate Human Resources Generalist to support our GTA-based grocery operations. This role is perfect for someone who values inclusivity, trust, and a people-first approach. As an ambassador of our vision and values, you will help foster a strong family culture where employees feel valued and supported. In this fast-paced environment, you must be adaptable, able to pivot quickly, and embrace a growth mindset as we continue to expand. You will be an integral part of our change management team, during this acquisition.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Passion for supporting a family-oriented culture and fostering a workplace built on trust and respect.
- Proven experience developing and implementing people-first policies and initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, as well as health and safety standards.
- Experience supporting change management initiatives in a growing organization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, pivot quickly, and embrace a growth mindset to drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and foster meaningful relationships.
- Strong background in employee engagement, wellness programs, and event planning.
- Ability to act as a culture ambassador, ensuring our vision and values are reflected in every HR initiative.

HR Strategy & Change Management: Work closely with the Director of Human Resources to plan and execute strategic HR initiatives, including supporting change management initiatives as the organization grows.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Assist in developing and managing onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a seamless new hire experience, while overseeing offboarding processes, including exit interviews.
Tools & Resources: Ensure all employees are equipped with the necessary tools, training, and support to achieve excellence in their roles.
