As our HR Generalist, you'll be the utility player of our People Operations team, fielding everything from recruiting and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. Key Plays & Responsibilities: Tracks the stats: Reviews, monitors, and documents training, certifications, and continuing education—keeping us compliant and in championship form. Scouts top talent: Recruits, interviews, and helps land All-Star candidates to fill open positions, partnering with hiring managers to draft the best lineup. Keeps the clubhouse in order: Supports performance evaluations and helps maintain high team morale, productivity, and recognition. Covers the bases: Manages benefits, leave requests, and day-to-day HR programs from onboarding to offboarding. Calls the plays: Advises on employee issues, policies, and investigations—ensuring every call is by the book. Plays defense: Handles sensitive inquiries and participates in disciplinary meetings and investigations, keeping fairness and integrity front and center. Studies the playbook: Stays up to date on employment law, HR trends, and best practices to keep our team ahead of the curve. Executes game-day strategy: Leads new hire orientation, champions employee programs, and makes sure everyone feels like an MVP. Coaches the lineup: Supervises and guides office employees—setting expectations, providing feedback, and ensuring the team runs smoothly both on and off the field. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required or relevant years of experience. At least 3 - 5 year of human resource management experience required. SHRM-CP preferred Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
