SUMMARY

The Human Resources Generalist will have a strong background in employee relations. This role will require a self-started and work with minimal supervision. Responsible for fostering a positive work environment and addressing all employee concerns. Administer employee benefits and support the management team.

JOB KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • HR certification, such as PHR, SHRMCP, is a plus
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to remain objective and impartial in conflict resolutions
  • Indepth knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a point of contact for all employee relations issues.
  • Conflict resolution workplace concerns and disciplinary action
  • Conduct thorough investigations
  • Counsel managers and employees on company policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal and local labor laws and payroll regulations in multiple states
  • Coordinate employee onboarding
  • Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment process
  • Maintain employee database
  • Track open positions and oversight on recruiting efforts
  • Backup for payroll processing
  • Review human resources processes and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Other duties as assigned
