Seven Hills Rhode Island is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our team! In this essential role, you will be responsible for managing a variety of HR functions to ensure the smooth operation of our programs and services. From recruitment and employee relations to compliance and benefits administration, your work will help shape a positive, effective workplace that supports our mission. As an HR Generalist, you'll contribute to the success of our organization by ensuring that our employees are supported, engaged, and aligned with our core values and goals. Responsibilities Support HR Functions: Handle a variety of HR support functions, including data management, recruitment, and benefits administration. Recruitment & Onboarding: Source and recruit talent for various positions, coordinate job fairs, community events, and facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding. Employee Relations: Assist with employee relations matters, including investigating complaints, handling disciplinary issues, and promoting positive employee interactions. Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records for EEO, OSHA, and other compliance-related reports, ensuring adherence to regulations. Leave & Workers' Comp Administration: Assist with the administration of employee leave (FMLA, ADA) and workers’ compensation claims. Compensation & Benefits Management: Help administer employee compensation and benefits programs and answer employee questions during open enrollment. Performance Management: Support performance evaluations, track employee development, and ensure compliance with job expectations. Employee Engagement: Make site visits to program areas to assess employee satisfaction and provide guidance on HR-related matters. Job Descriptions & Internships: Assist with creating job descriptions and coordinating internship programs. Organizational Development: Promote continuous learning and help foster a positive, engaging work culture across the organization. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Human Resources, Business, or related field). 1-3 years of HR-related experience. Valid driver’s license (Class C or D). Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of HR policies, employee relations, and compliance regulations (FMLA, ADA, etc.). Experience with compensation, benefits, and performance management. Ability to foster positive relationships across diverse groups. Proficient with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
