Description Position Title: The Only Facial Human Resources Generalist Location: Corporate Office Job Type: Full-time Job Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented mid-level HR Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will support day-to-day human resources operations while serving as a trusted resource for employees and management. Your responsibilities will include administering HR policies and programs, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards. You’ll help foster a positive, professional, and inclusive workplace culture that supports employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall organizational success. Requirements HR Systems, Data & Recordkeeping: Own HR/Payroll System and all HR system troubleshooting, communication, and training. (Paylocity experience preferred) Maintain accurate employee records, compliance files, and HR databases. Create and analyze HR reports to identify trends and opportunities. Ensure system and data integrity across the organization. Performance Management: Own all communication and administration of company-wide review processes. Support managers in addressing performance concerns and improvement plans. Support managers in creating Performance Development Plans (PDPs) for employees striving for growth. Support managers in creating and overseeing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for underperforming employees. Proactively maintain a business-wide 9-box to ensure the team is equipped to help the business succeed in scaling. Train managers and employees on review processes and expectations before, during, and after all review processes. Employee Relations & Communication: Serve as a confidential resource for employee concerns, conflicts, and questions. Partner with managers on disciplinary action, performance concerns, and coaching. Facilitate consistent communication across the company regarding updates, expectations, and cultural alignment. Coordinate apprenticeships, training schedules, and communication between teams. HR Continuous Improvement: Lead HR improvement projects (policies, systems, processes). Communicate all changes to the necessary employees in real-time. Regularly audit systems for accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits enrollment, questions, changes, and vendor coordination. Support employees during open enrollment and life events. Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure company-wide compliance with all employment laws and regulations. Maintain the company handbook, code of conduct, and annual manifesto and communicate any updates company-wide. Ensure managers understand and follow HR policies and expectations. Recruiting, Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage full-cycle recruiting: job descriptions, postings, screenings, interviews, offers. Run a world-class onboarding experience that integrates new hires into The Only Facial culture. Facilitate offboarding processes with professionalism and accuracy. Send a weekly Recruiting & Hiring Update to leadership and hiring managers. Results: Company remains 94%+ staffed at all times. All roles are filled with aligned employees that support company culture and growth. New hires integrate smoothly and feel connected from day one. HR systems, onboardings, and offboardings/terminations operate flawlessly with accurate records and clean data. Review/feedback processes run on time, with clear communication and strong participation (mid-year, end of year, 360, employee engagement, monthly 1:1s, etc.). Employee concerns are resolved quickly, fairly, with respect, and ultimately in alignment with the culture the founders expect. HR processes evolve as the company grows, increasing efficiency and clarity. Compliance standards are upheld with zero surprises or oversights.
