Job Summary: The Human Resources Generalist plays a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the employee lifecycle within the organization, ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures and best practices while fostering a positive workplace culture. This position is responsible for various HR initiatives with a strong focus on talent acquisition and performance management to support organizational goals.    Supervisory Responsibilities: * None   Essential Job Functions: * Responsible for overall performance management, people planning, and employee engagement efforts for a line of business. * Collaborate with management to design and execute talent attraction plans and hiring practices that drive high-caliber candidates into the organization.  * Manage HR transactional and administrative processes throughout the employee lifecycle such as recruiting, onboarding, training & development, succession planning, employee relations, workers compensation and leaves of absence.  * Act as a liaison between management and employees to address HR questions, interpret policies, and resolve work-related issues. * Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives with an innovative mindset. * Support benefits administration and coordinate payroll-related activities as needed. * Perform other related duties as assigned.   Experience & Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field, and minimum of 3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. * Knowledge of Human Resources policies, operations, and processes with the aptitude to quickly learn new or updated practices. * High degree of integrity, ability to maintain confidential information, and exercise discretion.  * Professional verbal and written business communication skills.  * Effective active listening skills and follow-up practices.  * Strong organizational, time management, prioritization, and attention to detail skills. * Solid problem solving and analytical capabilities. * Approachable and effective at interacting with all employee levels, including senior management.  * Ability to work independently with little or no supervision as well as collaborate with groups.  * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. * Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications with advanced MS Excel skills, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and other HR related applications    Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk, talking on the phone, attending in-person and virtual meetings, working on a computer, and operating other office equipment to complete work. * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. * Must be able to travel.   We are an equal opportunity employer that welcomes and encourages diversity in the workplace.
