Job Description
We’re seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic People & Culture team. In this role, you’ll serve as a key partner to internal client groups, supporting the implementation of HR programs, providing employee relations guidance, and contributing to a high-performing and inclusive workplace. You will play a pivotal role in both day-to-day HR operations and recruitment processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and a great experience for employees and candidates alike.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources, with demonstrated experience supporting both recruitment and generalist functions.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a service-oriented approach and ability to build strong internal relationships.
  • Proficiency in HR systems (HRIS and ATS), with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate certificate in Human Resources or a related field (CHRP designation or in progress considered an asset).
  • Analytical mindset with a track record of using data to drive improvements and inform HR strategies
Responsibilities

HR Business Partnership & Employee Relations:

  • Act as a first point of contact for internal client groups, building trusted relationships with team members and managers.
  • Support employee relations by advising on policies, handling sensitive issues with discretion, and ensuring consistent application of HR practices.
  • Collaborate with the VP of People & Culture to support performance management, employee engagement initiatives, and culture-building efforts.
  • Partner with stakeholders to support internal communications and change management initiatives.
  • Provide first-line HR support to employees, offering guidance on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

HR Operations & Program Support:

  • Manage the HR inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate and enhance employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and leave management.
  • Prepare and complete employment verification letters and other standard HR documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Assist with training logistics and support the rollout of learning and development initiatives.
  • Lead and continuously improve the employee onboarding experience, ensuring a seamless and welcoming process for new hires.
  • Administer and track HR programs such as performance reviews, training initiatives, and recognition programs.
  • Support policy development, documentation, and updates to ensure alignment with best practices and company values.

Talent Acquisition Support:

  • Partner with the Lead Recruiter to support the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting roles, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Responsible for scheduling interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Prepare and process offer letters, background checks, and onboarding workflows.
  • Maintain and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to support efficient recruitment operations.
  • Support the tracking and analysis of key recruitment metrics.
  • Lead recruitment efforts for select roles, managing sourcing, screening, and candidate coordination.

Data & Systems Management:

  • Oversee data system management for HRIS and ATS platforms, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and streamlined processes.
  • Provide analytics and reporting to support HR planning and decision-making.
  • Assist with HR reporting, data analysis, and generating insights to drive continuous improvement.

General Support & HR Projects:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for HR team meetings, department initiatives, and cross-functional projects.
  • Support the processing of HR and recruitment-related invoices and contribute to budget tracking for the People & Culture team.
  • Collaborate on special projects that drive operational efficiency, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications
