POSITION OVERVIEW

The HR Generalist manages day-to-day human resources operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, supporting employee relations, and promoting a positive workplace culture. This role handles the full employee life cycle—from recruiting and onboarding to performance management and offboarding—while serving as the first point of contact for HR-related matters. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Midland, Texas for 6–12 months before relocating to our Fort Worth, Texas office. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  • Candidates must be able to work on-site in Midland, Texas for 6–12 months before relocating to our Fort Worth, Texas office. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee recruitment and hiring, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
  • Manage new hire onboarding, orientation, and training schedules.
  • Administer employee benefits, open enrollment, and related communications.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA and workplace safety requirements.
  • Partner with managers to address performance issues, administer reviews, and implement improvement plans.
  • Maintain HRIS records and personnel files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping coordination.
  • Facilitate employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations when needed.
  • Support policy creation, updates, and enforcement.
  • Coordinate training programs for compliance, leadership, and skills development.
