Shift: 9am-5pm
Pay:$26-$27/hour
Work Location: Toronto (Horner Ave and Kipling Ave)

Job Duties:

  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees
  • Assist with the recruitment of employees
  • Assist with probation and annual performance evaluations
  • Review performance evaluations and other reports
  • Assist in implementing continuing education or on-the-job training
  • Implement company programs to increase morale
  • Track the attendance of employees and their use of vacation and sick days
  • Assist with the Health & Safety development, performance and maintenance within the Company
  • Contribute to ensuring the Company meets all Health & Safety regulations and that appropriate risk mitigation/control measures are in place
  • Assist with risk assessment, audit review, monitoring & managing health and safety within the Company
  • Assist with investigating incidents and accidents to ensure the timely production of corrective and preventative action plans
  • Identify any shortfalls in and/or potential improvements to policy and process, assess effectiveness of current policies and processes and recommend and help implement required changes
  • Ensure all training, license renewals and certificates are up to date and co-ordinate with each department if training or recertification is needed
  • Ensure that Company is compliant with MOL guidelines at all times
  • Maintain accurate records

QUALIFICATION:

  • Good verbal and written communication
  • 5 plus years HR experience
  • 2 plus years Health and Safety experience
  • Good Microsoft office skills
