Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

To develop and lead Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of an engaged workforce.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as member of the management team and reports directly to the Director of Operations.
  • Responsible for the administration of hiring, terminations, personnel records, legal compliance, compensation and onboarding.
  • Responsibilities include development and administration of personnel rules and regulations, pay and job classification structure and employee training, safety, health and morale.
  • Works with employees as required to ensure conformance with quality system requirements.
  • Oversees performance evaluations and maintenance of accurate complete personnel records.
  • Manages work related injuries and claims and strive for continuous improvement relating to Health and Safety.
  • Administration of company benefits.
  • Leads the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
  • Full cycle payroll and pension contributions.
  • Employee engagement and incentive program champion.
  • Other duties as assigned.

IATF SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organizational Responsibilities (Report on performance of QMS, Suggest opportunities for improvement, Ensure integrity of QMS is maintained).
  • With regard to documented information; review and approve for suitability.
