Mission: The HR Intern provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team at Copper World. This role is designed to offer broad exposure to the HR function in a corporate and industrial setting. The intern will assist with daily tasks across recruitment, payroll, benefits, and employee relations, ensuring high-quality data management and a positive experience for both candidates and current employees. This role will be located at the regional head office in Tucson, AZ. Role Accountabilities:   * Recruitment Assistance: Support recruitment efforts by posting jobs, helping screen resumes, and coordinating interview logistics between candidates and the hiring team. * HR Operations & ADP Support: Assist with routine data entry and maintenance in ADP, including updating employee records and helping process new hire documentation. * Payroll & Benefits Administration: Support the payroll team with basic administrative tasks, such as filing, data verification, and helping organize benefit enrollment materials. * Employee Relations Support: Assist in the preparation of internal communications, employee event coordination, and the maintenance of HR policy documents. * Reporting & Documentation: Help compile basic HR metrics and reports from ADP as requested and ensure all digital and physical personnel files are organized and compliant. * General Inquiry Support: Assist the HR team in responding to basic employee questions or redirecting them to the appropriate subject matter expert. Minimum Qualifications and Education: * Education: Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. * Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor. * Confidentiality: A fundamental understanding of the importance of handling sensitive employee information with care. * Adaptability: Ability to shift between different administrative tasks as priorities change within the department. Preferred Qualifications:   * System Exposure: Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now. * Work Experience: Previous experience in an office, administrative, or customer service environment. * Industry Interest: An interest in learning about the mining industry and its unique workforce requirements.
